4/28/2020 · El zooplancton, o plancton animal, es el término que recibe el conjunto de todos y aquellos organismos vivos pertenecientes al Reino Animal que flotan de forma errante dentro de los 200 primeros metros de profundidad de muchos de los ecosistemas acuáticos del planeta.
Se denomina zooplancton a la fracción del plancton constituida por seres que se alimentan, por ingestión de materia orgánica ya elaborada. Está constituido por protozoos , es decir, protistas diversos, fagótrofos que engloban el alimento fagocitándolo .
